Thirteen formations traditional music from Murcia, Avila, Malaga and Valencia come together on Sunday caravaqueña hamlet of Barranda
The acts of the XXXVII edition of the Feast of the crews begin tomorrow, Friday 23 January with Culture Days About Oral Tradition and the first performance Barranda Folk Festival.
At 1800 hours the Museum of Ethnic Music Barranda welcomes the submission of the Conference on Culture of Oral Tradition and Folklore and School course "old words are heard," coordinated by Alfonso Palacios.
The program of cultural events will start at 1845 hours exposure, by Julio Guillen Navarro of the doctoral thesis "The Brotherhood of Souls of Caravaca de la Cruz: music, revival and ethnicity in the Sierra del Segura".
Subsequently, opens to the public the photo exhibition "Party Time" Joaquin Zamora and Tomás García Martínez.
The schedule for Friday's session will close with the performance of the group "Stolen Notes" in the Social Centre, within the festival "Barranda Folk".
With limited capacity and an input of five euros.
On Saturday the Conference on Culture of Oral Tradition are taken up with conferences Antonio Viñao, 'Orality, floclore and school';
Federico Martin with 'Ana María Matute Reminder: alphabet to the stuttering child';
and Gustavo Martín and 'The House of Words', who also propose afternoon 'narrate is to escape the tyranny of truth'.
Moreover, Chana Teatro La submit 'Del Lazarillo de Tormes' and there will be a visit and tour of Museum of music.The day will conclude with performances by Kepa Junkera & sorginak and Hexacorde & Vanesa Muela, within the 'Barranda Folk'.
Also, both Saturday and Sunday will take place Farmers Market Traditions workshops and sale and tasting of typical gastronomic products of the area.
The Feast of itself crews start at 10.00 pm on Sunday at the Church of the Candelaria with Mass Sung to the Brotherhood of Blessed Souls of Patillo.
After welcoming the 13 participants formations traditional music, dancing takes place through the streets of the hamlet of Barranda.
The afternoon will be reserved for the square dance on Main Street and the loose ball in the Social Center.
The Feast of the crews involved the following rounds, pandas and crews: Animeros of Caravaca de la Cruz (Murcia), Gang of Aledo (Murcia), Gang Patiño (Murcia), Ronda Algazara Candeleda (Ávila), Gang slope Gos (Murcia), Round Motilleja (Albacete), Gang Campo San Juan, El Sabinar and Calar de la Santa (Murcia), Gang Huebras (Albacete), Gang Brials (Valencia), Gang of Puri (Murcia) Panda Verdiales 1st Forestry (Malaga), Ronda de los Llanos (Albacete) and as hosts, Aguilanderos Barranda.
