The City of Caravaca de la Cruz, through its Department of Employment, celebrated on Thursday, February 5, an informative seminar aimed at making shoes and auxiliary our local sector.
On the day they will intervene key agencies with lines of economic aid and support programs for the sector, including representatives of the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia (INFO), the Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX), Ministry of Economy The Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia (SEF) and the Footwear Technology Centre (CETEC).
"We intend that this meeting will serve to collect the main needs of the footwear sector whose solution is within reach of local, regional and national administrations, especially focusing on the promotion of export activity, attendance at fairs and training to address specific deficiencies in some offices within the production chain "detailed Councilman Employment, Salvador Gómez.

In Caravaca de la Cruz companies in the footwear sector billed nearly 40 million euros in 2013, according to data from the Treasury.
The Region of Murcia has 41 footwear companies, most established in Caravaca and its region.
Murcia last year exported footwear worth 71 million euros, representing an increase of 6% over 2012.
