The City of Caravaca de la Cruz awarded the Gold Medal of the City to school and Primary Education "Santa Cruz" to mark the first centenary of its foundation.
The event will take place this Friday, February 13, at 19.00 in the framework of an extraordinary plenary session.
During the plenary, the mayor, Domingo Aranda, will present this distinction, contained in the Municipal Regulation of Honors and Awards, the current director of the school, José Francisco García Moreno, in recognition of the important educational and social work during the caravaqueña within the company over the last hundred years.
The record for the award of the Gold Medal of the Holy Cross Primary School, initiated and processed by the City of Caravaca, has received about 1,000 accessions of individuals and institutions.
During the past year, the educational community of CEIP Santa Cruz has held with its centenary commemorative events.
Among the events held, is the presentation of your website and the anthem of the center, composed by Ignacio Sánchez caravaqueño and the talk given by renowned psychologist and lecturer, Javier Urra, among other activities.
