From February 17 to April 15, the Municipal Center for Employment, Training and Equal hosts the lecture series "I'm Caregiver", organized by the service of home help "Time Helping and Caring" and the City of Caravaca de la Cruz.
"This activity has as main objective to support those families and professionals who are responsible for dependent people and it will be accompanied by a group of professionals, including psychologists, social workers and nurses, who provide tools and strategies needed to find assist in the important work they do every day carers ", as reported by the Councillor for Social Welfare, Carmen Ruiz Mulero.
The series "I'm Caregiver" shall consist of the following papers: "Caring for a person with Alzheimer" by the psychologist Francisco García Durán (February 17);
"Health care for dependents" Nurse María Hernández Torrecilla (March 4);
"Burned caregiver syndrome" by psychologist and speech therapist Miriam López Bernal (March 11);
"The loss and grief," the psychologist Rosario González Sánchez (April 8), and "Respect and dignity of care" by the social worker and director of the Center Day "Virgen de las Maravillas" of cehegín, Juan José López Matallana (April 15).
The cycle is free registration and also can attend family dependents, carers and anyone interested in the subject.
