The Department of Environment of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz has celebrated the "Tree Day" in collaboration with the Sierra de Mojantes of Archivel, Virgen de la Candelaria Barranda and Oróspeda Archivel IES schools.
The activity took place in the vicinity of Las Tosquillas, which now has over 300 species such as holm oak, thyme and lavender.
In addition to this reforestation, students will return periodically to this natural place to see the evolution of trees and species that each has planted and participate in a conference awareness activities and games with the care of the environment.
From the Department of Environment emphasize that in recent years have developed several reforestation campaigns in natural areas and a school garden was created with the participation of students in all schools in the municipality.
