The City of Caravaca de la Cruz renews and expands the network of water supply in the neighborhood of Simancas and Cervantes streets.
The work, which aims to improve the conditions of pressure and flow to households, has a budget of 120,000 euros, amount financed through service concessionaire drinking water, Aqualia.
"This action will involve a considerable improvement in the quality of the municipal water service, which will be directly perceived by all the neighbors, since the pipes were quite damaged by the passage of time and obstructed by lime, which caused inconvenience to the residents by progressive loss of pressure, "as indicated by the Councillor for Urban Development, Salvador Gómez.
The project involves the realization of 80 new connections to commercial low and buildings in the area;
installing fire hydrants to improve security conditions and the renovation of the supply network with new pipes and drains.
The works affect Simancas, Cervantes, Calasparra, Moratalla and Santa María de la Cabeza the village streets, while improving service will be received in all the streets adjoining the square of the Templars.
The next phase of network renewal of drinking water takes place in the village of Singla and streets Juan Carlos I and Miguel de Unamuno.
The service charge Aqualia, Mario Gonzalez added that "it is planned to install new valves, vents, drains and consumer control elements in order to improve management and water saving and also works are complemented by a new layer of firm in Moratalla and Calasparra streets to replace the existing ".
