"Teresa, a life of mystical experience" airs today, Wednesday, April 1, by the La 2 of Spanish Television.
The documentary, directed by Francisco Rodríguez Fernández, is emitted from 00.00 and bring a new vision around the figure of mysticism, devoid of conventions, adapted to today's viewers and based on his own writings, a wide literature and interviews with experts.
For the preparation of this work, produced by Soteco documentary, co-produced by TVE and live rock events, have collaborated more than 30 Spanish organizations and institutions, including the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, as some of the images were shot in city.
In addition, other agencies involved have participated in the promotion and dissemination of the cultural tourist route "Traces of Teresa" and the commemoration of the V Centenary of the Birth of St. Teresa of Jesus, as the Ministry of Culture.
The documentary is the result of extensive research over two years on the most relevant aspects of his life and work, his personality and his poor health, his presence in the contemporary world and its legado.El film focuses on three most representative works of his inner path ('The Book of Life', 'Way of Perfection' and 'Dwellings') and offers a tour of the cities and places that marked Teresa of Jesus, to know their tents and personal belongings and its presence in artistic expression.
Throughout the documentary are references to Caravaca de la Cruz and also the same spot ends with images of Las Fuentes del Marqués.
