The Popular Party candidate for mayor of Caravaca, José Francisco Garcia, accompanied by Members, the candidate in municipal elections, held a meeting with representatives of various sports associations in the municipality in which the formulas are discussed with which to improve sports and the work performed by these groups, "which are one of the stars of the sport engines and boost the municipality."
In this regard, the applicant stated that, as has been done in recent years, "continue to promote the sport base, so that children and young people have healthy leisure alternatives according to your tastes and educated in the values ​​of sport ".
He stressed that "the Administration have an obligation to continuously promote the best structure and organization of sports system, in order to guide future actions, both in activities such as infrastructure, all with the participation of all stakeholders" .
In this regard, the Popular Party candidate recalled that, thanks to work done in recent years by the caravaqueño Consistory, "the Municipal Sports Schools are leading in the Region of Murcia, in terms of number of students and variety of activities offered."
However, he stressed that "we must keep working and start for new ways to exceed the percentage of habitual practitioner population and to do so in the best conditions, with the best facilities both in the village and in the districts".
He also stressed the importance of encouraging participation in the program of School Sports in the Schools and sports schools, "with the possibility to extend the conference also during the summer, as well as promote the use of school facilities on schedule no school, always with the municipal control, "he added José Francisco.
In terms of facilities, José Francisco García believes that the maintenance and repair of the same "is vital", because, he said, "are the places where our children spend a lot of time, and older too, and we are obliged to provide the best services, with all the guarantees ".
