Among the demands are: the enlargement of 20 new hospital beds, with appropriate staffing for assistance.
The Heads of Service Northwest Regional Hospital also request the purchase of a new scanner and the creation of a Magnetic Resonance Unit governance, because that will be installed will be privately owned.
In the round of meetings that are ongoing health professionals with candidates of political parties, delivered to socialist representatives a file where all needs, lack of investment, impair the quality of care provided by the hospital appear, highlighting the main gaps suffering for their work, mainly of a material nature and template.
They attended the meeting: José Luis Pardo (Chief of Surgery), José María Melgares Coordinator (ER), Soledad Guillen (Representative of the College of Physicians and the Medical Association), Alfredo Escolano (Head of Gynaecology) and Miguel de Paco (Chief Internal Medicine).
Pepe Moreno and Jesus Navarro recalled that recently participated in the constitution of the Association of Users of Health and the regional platform in Defense of Public Health, where health professional organizations, associations, unions and political parties are integrated.
