The Department of Environment of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz and Ecoembes, the organization that cares for the environment through recycling and eco-design of household packaging in Spain, closed down on Saturday the awareness campaign and promotion of recycling "Caravaca separates, Caravaca recycled ".
"To conclude this campaign has been prepared Recycling Festival, which will take place next Saturday, May 9th, from 10.00 to 12.00 am at the Hermanos Pinzon square and in it children can build robots, rockets, houses -nido bird, puppets and other elements with waste materials ", as advanced by the mayor of Environment, Maria Antonia Alvarez Jorquera.
The storyteller of "cardboard Universe" and other activities and games, such as "Separate and gain" or "Get wet with Recycling" was also held.
During the Feast of recycling all primary school children can take their hobbies brochure "Separate Caravaca Caravaca Recycle" and deposit it in the ballot box to participate in the draw for a Playstation 4. The draw will be held at 13.00.
Ecoembes and the City of Caravaca wish to thank all the residents of the municipality for their participation in the campaign and its collaboration in the chain of recycling of packaging, cardboard and paper.
His role in recycling processes is basic and contributes greatly to environmental care.
The campaign, funded by Ecoembes with 30,000 euros, has covered various activities such as distribution of information material in homes, advertising media, a school competition on how to recycle at home and raising awareness in households with visit the "ecoinformadores" more than a thousand homes.
