The Department of Consumer Affairs of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz and Murcia Association of Consumers and Users Consumur develop a project to improve the eating habits of children and young people of Caravaca de la Cruz.
The initiative, called "Consumasalud. Promoting healthy eating" is held at schools during the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 courses and is aimed at students in 3rd, 4th and 5th primary education and 3 ° and 4 of secondary education.
The project, which began last Wednesday, includes the development of two actions with students, a talk on healthy eating habits and a competition escolar.La first action briefing on eating habits, it aims to sensitize students about the need to maintain good eating habits, supplemented with adequate physical activity that affects a general improvement of health conditions of children and youth.
The second action, the school competition is intended to facilitate better assimilation of concepts through their direct participation in the project.
"The very nature of the activity, promote creativity and assimilation of concepts eating habits by students to reinforce actions from Consumur and Department of Consumer Affairs, implemented in this project and complementary actions that develop from the center itself school ", as detailed Councilwoman Trade and Consumer Affairs, Maria Teresa Romero, who also indicated that the initiative the months of May, June, September and October this year will develop.
