The mayor of Caravaca, Domingo Aranda, and the president of the local committee of Red Cross, José Antonio González, yesterday signed a cooperation agreement to this humanitarian organization provides health coverage at functions and events promoted by the City of Caravaca de la Cruz and the development of different actions on social services.

The City Council, meanwhile, brings the amount of 12,000 euros per year for the costs of replacement and maintenance of medical equipment, maintenance, clothing and transportation of volunteers.
From the Department of Social Promotion highlight the important work that organizations like the Red Cross or Caritas play in society, responding to the needs of people with difficulties in social integration with actions in health, relief, school support, home help and sharing food or toys.
