Caravaca de la Cruz has welcomed today the market of educational projects "Entrepreneurship in my school" (EME) and "European Young Company" (EJE), which have participated Cervantes (Caravaca), El Salvador colleges, with two cooperatives (Caravaca), Earl of Campillos (Cehegín), Juana Rodriguez (Moratalla) and institutes Los Cantos (Bullas) and Alquipir (Cehegín).
Caravaca de la Cruz was the pioneer municipality in the implementation of this initiative is carried out for the development of entrepreneurship in young students in primary and secondary education, through the experience of creating and managing mini businesses in the classroom.
Currently, the project has spread to most municipalities in the region, promoted by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Business and Innovation, through the Institute of Development, and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities, under the We undertake plan Murcia.
The objectives of the market held today at the Plaza San Juan de la Cruz are implementing entrepreneurial skills learned by students in the previous months in a real environment and learn live and share the environment and the reality of traders involved in the weekly markets.
In total in the region of Murcia, 1,200 secondary students, 40 centers and 1,700 primary pupils, 46 centers participate.
In the project "Entrepreneurship in my school" has been awarded the school El Salvador in Caravaca, in the category "Creativity and Innovation", the school Juana Rodriguez de Moratalla, in the category "Design Point of Sale".
In the project "European Young Company", the awards have been for IES The Songs of Bullas, in the categories "Design Point of Sale" and "Creativity and Innovation".
