Councilwoman Maria Jose Soria Martinez, who will be responsible for leading the area of ​​Health in caravaqueño Consistory, yesterday attended the closing ceremony of the VIII Health Conference Health Area IV "Good practices in the handling of antibiotics."
During the meeting several presentations were held in the auditorium of the Northwest Regional Hospital focused mainly on the management of infectious disease from a clinical perspective and public health, with special attention to the differences in the various health care settings.
Another of the priorities was to address the rational use of antibiotics and the growing problem of resistance of microorganisms to them, a problem that the World Health Organization (WHO) defines as a "profound threat to human health".
These health conference held yesterday in Caravaca de la Cruz were accredited by the Ministry of Health of the Autonomous Community and Regional Health Interest.
