Caravaqueña Alfami foundation has awarded 105 scholarships for students studying in primary, secondary, high school, vocational training and university.
The total amount of aid given this year to 28,000 euros.
The board that governs the Foundation awards these grants, taking into account proposals made by the directors of the schools of the municipality own, based on academic record and family economic situation.
The 25 university students have been awarded grants to 700 euros;
30 training and high school students receive aid cycles 200 euros and 49 students of Primary and Secondary Education (ESO), 90 euros.
The board that governs the foundation's president of honor of the bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena and is chaired by the mayor of Caravaca.
In addition, part of this patronage the pastor of El Salvador, the school principal Basilio Saez, director of the Institute of High John of the Cross, and the representative of the founder's family.
The Alfami Foundation is primarily intended, by virtue of its statutes and the will expressed in the will of the founder, Alfonso Lopez Alvarez, financially support students with outstanding records by grants scholarships to facilitate the completion of their studies.
