On Saturday the party of "Music and Film" is celebrated with a version of the documentary on the Murcia musical scene "Split" and the concert of "The Ugly, the Good and the Mena"
The International Short Film and Video Art "The Festivalico" this weekend is held at different venues in Caravaca de la Cruz, with over seventy projections and parallel cultural activities related to the world of cinema.
It is an activity promoted by the Cultural Art Association "The Jardinico" with the cooperation of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz and other local sponsors.
"The Festivalico" begins today, Friday, June 26, at 21.00 in the pub Canterbury, with the screening of several short films and 2215 hours continuously with new projections in the Thuillier.
The program is resumed on Saturday morning at 1.30 am, on the promenade of the slide with the workshop on "Characterisation", in which the professional Saray Diaz will demonstrate how special makeup effects are realized in horror films or fiction.
At 1200 hours, on the same stage, begin the activity "Where the word cinema is" to recreate dialogues cinema classics, accompanied by the music of Antonio Fructuoso Pozo.
After such side events, "The Festivalico" will resume at 18.00 on Saturday at the theater Thuillier, with projections of the "Local" section, composed of studies that have been conducted by caravaqueños or have to count on your collaboration in production and realization of them.
Between local pieces, highlighted by the debut of "noise Scissors" led Jesus Lopez Melgares.
From 19.15, the festival will focus on the section of "Fiction".
Parallel activities return at night, from 00.30 hours in the pub Note, with the feast of the "Music and Film", where a short version of the documentary on the Murcia musical scene "Split!" Will be screened, caravaqueño directed by Luiggi Garcia.
Then will begin the concert of "The ugly, the good and the ore," one of Murcia bands of the moment, in his compositions blending styles such as pop, folk and psychedelia.
The fifth edition of "The Festivalico" will begin its final stretch on Sunday, June 28, from 11.00 in the Thuillier, with sections "Guest Authors", "Local Video Art", the videoproyecto "Do it yourself" "Video Art", "Animation" to finish with short genre "fiction".
