Next Tuesday, June 30, "Caravaca Radio" begins the celebrations for its 25th anniversary.
To mark this quarter century on the air, the local radio station held a special programming throughout the day.
From 09.00 to 14.00 and from 17.00 to 20.00, through the 107.4 FM or www.caravacaradio.com, a complete tour will be held on the history of radio interviews, music and reviewing some of the most important news of 25 years, part of the sound file from the station.
Throughout this time, many caravaqueños, radio lovers, have worked with the local radio station for information, music, cultural and sports programs.
Some of them remember their experience Tuesday on the radio.
By studies of "Caravaca Radio" will also directors that the station has been in recent years: Juan Antonio Marin, Lourdes Maria Aznar and Bethlehem Muñoz.
In addition, listeners enjoy the music that has marked several generations.
It was a June 30, 1990 when the local radio station, then called "Radio Deitania" began its broadcast from the offices of the New street, on the third floor of the building which currently houses the House-Museum of the Wine Horses.
That first issue came at 12:00 o'clock, through the 107.1 FM frequency.
Twenty-five years later, that same hour, that historic Tuesday will be issued to welcome listeners, but in its current frequency of 107.4.
In April 2007 Caravaca Radio premiered its current premises in Lonja Street, in the building of the former Jesuit.
Since its inception, the local station has been an informative reference for caravaqueños.
