Caravaqueña hamlet of Navares held this coming Saturday, July 4, the ninth edition of the Festival of the lid.
The activity will start from 19.30, at the door of the old schools, and will be accompanied by an orchestra and karaoke.
The organizers point out that the Feast of the cover was created in 2011 at the initiative of the members of the commission of celebrations of San Anton.
The next year, given the broad acceptance was obtained by the public, they decided to organize two annual editions, one coinciding with the festivities of the village and another on the first Saturday of the month July.
"What began as an experiment, it has become over time a local landmark and also regional, as in every edition we have the pleasure of having a greater number of visitors, who want to enjoy the cuisine and good atmosphere that is created among the people ", highlights the promoters of the event, who encourage participation in this ninth edition of the Festival of the lid.
Each of the clubs participating in the festival of San Anton in the hamlet of Navares is responsible for preparing several tapas, which are offered for the modest price of one euro, including beer.
