Until next July 15, from 18.00 to 21.00, open to the public the sample contains some of the most outstanding work done by students caravaqueño art workshop "Martina".
This activity is part of the annual program of art exhibitions sponsored by the Department of Culture of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz.
The opening of the exhibition was assistance and participation of the mayor, Jose Moreno, accompanied by the Councillor for Culture, Oscar Martinez, who recognized the path along almost twenty years of Martina Sánchez García, training several generations of caravaqueños in world of painting and other artistic techniques.
Meanwhile, Martina Sánchez wanted to dedicate some touching words of thanks to all students and recalled the origin of his workshop, when his desire was to create a space in Caravaca for women to find a new form of entertainment and personal fulfillment by developing their creativity through the world of painting.
This group exhibition consists of more than fifty works, executed with various techniques and materials.
The paintings are made by students Dolores Reinón, Tere Medina, Pedro Antonio Marin, Esther Agulló, Conchita García Luján, Rosario Beltran, Angela Talavera, Angel Moya, Fran Navarro, Carmen Ruiz, Juani Martinez, Alberto Giménez, Miguel Angel Gimenez and Rosario Beltrá, among others.
The exhibition includes a series of crafts made with the technique of "Patchwork", which is to form compositions with different types of fabric to form a pattern or a final drawing.
