Within the municipal program "Summer Youth" promoted by the Youth Council of the City of Caravaca, he has begun the official course of "Monitor leisure time", in which a total of 26 youths.
The Councillor for Education and Youth, Esther Poveda, who has today welcomed the students in the Youth Center, explains that "this initiative allows the skills of young people for cultural and recreational activities of special interest to children and youth, both in the natural environment and urban ".
The opening of the course has also been assisted by Sergio Martinez, director of the Training School "El Molino", responsible for providing the classes.
Students who complete 250 hours of theory and practice will get the official certificate issued by the Regional School of Leisure of the Autonomous Community, which opens a professional door, as they will be able to develop work in the field of animation and time free, as required by current legislation.
The course consists of several training areas: Educational Psychology Module, Sociocultural Module Module Module Technical Resources and Planning and Safety at Leisure.
The practical part will be developed in the various municipal activities related to youth and children, starting in the dining room and social summer school recently launched.
