As a preamble to the "meeting" on Saturday of former members of the Edith Stein Club, yesterday afternoon it was inaugurated an exhibition that gathers images and other memories of this youth group that was born under the Discalced Carmelite Fathers.
The exhibition is located in the cloister of the Hospice of Our Lady of Carmen and will remain open until July 16, from 10.30 to 13.00 and from 18.30 to 20.30.
Along with the opening of the exhibition, a ceremony was held in the chapel of Santa Teresa, which was attended by the mayor of Culture and Celebrations, Oscar Martinez;
the prior of the Carmelite community in Caravaca, Father Pascual Gil;
the official chronicler of the Region of Murcia, José Antonio Melgares, and, on behalf of the former members of the club, Manuel Fernando Guerrero intervened.
Edith Stein Club was founded in 1966, coinciding with the arrival in Caravaca de la Cruz's father Dionisio Tomas Sanchis.
The group brought together more than 500 youth during the decades of the 70s and 80s and was defined as "a youth movement emerged to stimulate the vital interests of its stakeholders through regular meetings".

I "meeting of the Club Edith Stein" organized to coincide with the Year Teresian begin Saturday at 10:00 am with the reception and breakfast in the Hospederia del Carmen.
