Northwest Youth Orchestra of the Region of Murcia (Jonomur) presents this Saturday, July 18, in Caravaca de la Cruz.
The concert, which has the support of the Department of Culture of the City of Caravaca, will take place at 21.30, the Plaza del Arco, by 80 musicians from different localities Murcia.
Northwest Youth Orchestra of the Region of Murcia has recently been established as an artistic and pedagogical practice and to promote the enjoyment of music and help students in their training and project projection as musicians.

The concert presentation in Caravaca de la Cruz will be composed of the following works: "Festive Overture" (Shostakovich), "Peer Gynt" (E.Grieg), "Carmen" (G.Bizet), "Cavalleria Rusticana" (P. Mascagni) and "Masquerade Suite" (A.Khachaturian).
The project JONUMUR
The artistic and pedagogical director of the Youth Orchestra of the Northwest Region of Murcia, Juan Jesus Lopez Sandoval, project intended to strengthen the cultural image of the Northwest Region and the Region of Murcia and its components provide the possibility of being in other scenarios to observe and learn how to develop other orchestras.
"This kind of orchestras it are critical to the future musicians learn to live within a human group, known repertoires, develop personally and establish their learning necessary to project the workforce skills. Membership in the orchestra is offered to all students in elementary teaching, professional and higher level, study and reside in the Region of Murcia.
Within its program of annual activities Jonomur held "intensive meetings", which will have teachers / as prestigious to assist in the training of members of the orchestra and assemblies repertoires.
These meetings will be carried out during holiday periods to avoid interruption of academic activities of the students.
