Fifty caravaqueños are doing the Camino de Santiago.
It is an activity organized by the Department of Sports City of Caravaca de la Cruz and is borne by the participants themselves.
The pilgrimage, which cover a total of 120 kilometers divided into five stages, is expected to reach Santiago de Compostela this Friday, July 24th.
From the Department of Sports highlighted the good reception that has this proposal, and that for the second year, has completed the quota of places.
This pilgrimage is a step within the "D'Ruta" municipal program to combat the sedentary lifestyle and the sport throughout the year is encouraged.
The participants, equipped with T-2017 Holy Year of Caravaca de la Cruz, accompanied and guided by instructors of the Department of Sports and includes bus travel, accommodation, breakfast and a group meal on arrival in Santiago.
The pilgrimage left yesterday from Tui, Spanish municipality located in Pontevedra, in the eastern part of the Bajo Miño.
