The festival will close with a concert by "Nagha" of outstanding renditions of pop-rock history
The first edition of "Caravaca Fest" takes place this Saturday, July 25, with live music, Djs sessions, popular coffee and food tastings, among other activities.
The Councillor for Tourism and Trade, Gloria Gomez;
President of the Association of merchants and restaurateurs of Caravaca (ACHC), Maria Angeles Muñoz, and representative of the hoteliers, Antonio Calvache, have made a call for participation in this festival, organized on the occasion of the feast of Santa Marta, patron saint of restaurateurs.
"We want to be a party destined to continue and become a day of coexistence among restaurateurs, neighbors and anyone who wants to visit," he pointed Gloria Gomez, who has also informed that the activities will start at 12.00 noon, on the stretch of the Gran Via between the junction of Juan Carlos I and Pim Paco square where tents will be enabled with water sprays.
They will involve a total of 14 hotels in the town, which offer an assortment of tapas, accompanied by beer, the price of 2 euros to 3 euros and cocktails.
Local participants are: Arch Well- Inn, Rincon de Paco, Parliament, Oven Dulcinea Peña Taurine, Felymar, Stop, Oven street, D'Gusta Alhambra Traviatta, Flores and Jupiter.
The first musical performance is to "Moy Gomar" at 15.30.
The session "Black Tulip House Live & Sax" will begin at 18.30 and finally the "Nagha" group will close the day at 22.00 hours, based on legendary versions of the history of pop-rock music concert.
From ACHC they have highlighted that "it is the first time that Santa Marta is commemorated with this format, as the 14 restaurateurs will be together in the same bar area and prepare together an assortment of summer tapas".
The association also wanted to highlight the cooperation of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, as well as Estrella Levante, Delta Café, Aeme Zone Audio Studio and the promotion and organization of this event.
