The Department of Tourism of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz offer night Castle and Royal Basilica of the Holy Cross during visits next August.
More than 30,000 people have this activity and cultural tourism, now in its eleventh edition, with new characters and funny stories enjoyed.
In recent weeks it has prepared a theatrical tour with a component of humor and fun, while recreating outstanding episodes of the history of the shrine and the town of Caravaca.
This year, the plot unfolds in the late reign of Felipe V, specifically in 1743, when an outbreak of contagious fever that affected the population regularly starts.
It was just after the wonderful facade of the church of the Holy Cross and it's time to give the new church altarpieces, while beginning to recognize the first steps to build a new chapel of the Holy Cross Bath in Humilladero , next to the church of La Concepción.
"The scenario remains the strength and Basilica of Caravaca de la Cruz, but change in much of the historical content and the characters they play and weave the visit" has come as the coordinator of this activity, Indalecio Pozo.
On this occasion, the visit will be guided and interpreted by Francisco Musso, Knight of the Order of Santiago and sheriff of the Holy Office, among other honors.
Alongside such famous character in the history of Caravaca, we find the carver Blas Sáez, master altarpieces Sanctuary and Santa Clara, accompanied by Turkish and Maria de la Sombra, aides for what is third.

On the other hand, it is running the sixth edition of the free activity "Caravaca de la Cruz. Stroll through the Holy City", organized by the Department of Tourism of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz in collaboration with the Institute of Tourism of the Region Murcia.
The next guided tours will take place on August 16 and September 20, at 11.15, taking as a starting point the Basilica of Vera Cruz.

Guided tours of the church and convent of San José del Teresian Year visits
During the summer months, the Department of Tourism of the consistory continues caravaqueño offering guided tours of the church of San José visits and Carmelite convent, within the activities of the Teresian Year and on the occasion of the launch of the tourist route and cultural "Traces of Teresa".
These visits take place from Tuesday to Sunday at 12.30.
They are held on Saturdays at 12.30 and 16.30.
The price is $ 2 for adults and 1 euro for pensioners and children (under six years free).
