The socialist municipal group has filed a motion for debate in plenary on: excluding the costs of construction, operation and maintenance of Northwest Highway in the regionalised spending Caravaca de la Cruz, Cehegín, Bullas and Mula municipalities.
In the preamble, the PSOE argues that historically, since the launch of the highway west-Río Mula, has been included as territorialized spending adjudicándolo in proportion to the said municipalities, creating a situation of investment per inhabitant year, fictitious and discriminatory for its citizens, contributing even more to the great disparity between our region with the rest of inhabitants of the region of Murcia.
The much publicized regional convergence is ever further;
considering that "thanks" to the situation that for centuries has this region, Murcia has enabled Objective 1 be considered to receive greater support and funding from Europe.
It is therefore of justice, end this clearly discriminatory situation which, year after year, increases the gap of inequality between the inhabitants of the West with the rest of the region.
For these reasons, the Socialist Group of Caravaca de la Cruz, presented for discussion and approval the following:
MOTION
The socialist municipal group in the City of Caravaca de la Cruz asks the other political groups represented in this House, support the motion filed in the Regional Assembly of Murcia by Deputy Jesus Navarro, which urges the Council Government to withdraw the chapter of regionalised spending the canon of construction, operation and maintenance of the highway west.
Likewise, urge the Governing Council to withdraw the draft annex regionalised spending, starting construction, operation and maintenance of the highway west, which are awarded in proportion to the municipalities of Caravaca de la Cruz Cehegín, Bullas and Mula .
3. To urge the Governing Council for the fee to be met by that highway no negative impact on the inhabitants of these municipalities.
Jesus Navarro claims the construction of the Northern Highway forgotten.
For its part, the Socialist deputy, Jesus Navarro, submitted under Articles 186 et seq of the Regional Assembly of the Region of Murcia, the following proposal:
"Given the need for construction of a highway that effectively communicate the Northwest Region with the city of Murcia and thus, by extension, the motorways of the Mediterranean and Madrid, has been one of the objectives from the early years of the establishment of regional autonomy, in order, not only to structure this community, but also and above all, in order to increase the socio-economic levels of an area that was clearly well below other regions of the region in terms of their economic situation.
Undoubtedly it was necessary to introduce the Northwest Region in regional, national and international economic circuits, and all political groups, trade unions, business organizations and municipalities, agreed to build the Northwest highway, but also, as desired and hitherto forgotten, North motorway connecting Caravaca to Jumilla, thus communicate with the Levant by the highway Fuente la Higuera-Jumilla and the peninsular center through the A-30 ".
