Robles caravaqueña Chillida Foundation will grant 15 scholarships within the third call the awards recognize the work of students with outstanding academic records.
This was announced by the Secretary of the Foundation, Francisco Romero, in the meeting with the mayor, Jose Moreno.
During the meeting, held at the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, the board members have discussed what the main purpose of this non-profit organization and the projects currently works as the rehabilitation of the building former Jesuit.
Besides the awards to students studying in schools in Caravaca de la Cruz, the Robles Chillida Foundation maintains a collaboration agreement with the University of Murcia for the annual financing of a research project and for the granting of aid international mobility and two awards for doctoral theses.
30,000 euros were spent on scientific research awards and 9,000 euros to the study aids for pupils in teaching caravaqueños last year.

Pharmacist named after Elijah Manuel Robles Chillida, who donated his estate to initiatives that promote, among other things, the health and welfare of citizens.
The foundation aims to promote the love of study, research, honest commitment to society through intellectual work, since the beginning of the academic life to the higher stages.
Awards for study and research are a recognition of such virtues, as reflected in the best academic records.
