The winner of the 'Bordón Minero' at the last edition of the International Festival of Cante de las Minas de La Union, Jose Tomas Jimenez, will be this Saturday, August 15, at the Museum of Ethnic Music.
In the series "A Barranda Moon", organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, Jose Tomas will offer flamenco music concert entitled "Well Vine".
The concert will begin at 22.30, and as the other actions that are part of this program, will be freely available to fill seats.
Jose Tomas Jimenez course of Membrilla (Ciudad Real) and began his career as a guitarist with eight years by a man fond of his people.
Later he began studying Musical Teaching at the University of Cordoba.
At the same time developing college, Jimenez received at the conservatory classes flamenco guitar accompaniment of singing and dancing.
The guitarist worthy of the highest honor of singing in the Cathedral of La Union in 2014 in its category, has shared the stage with some flamenco figures as Manuel Cuevas and Julian Estrada and has accompanied artists such as Rafael de Utrera and Antonio Jose Mejia.

The guitarist will be accompanied by Daniel Navarro, owner of the two most important awards for dance (Award "Desplante" Festival de las Minas de La Union and the National Prize in the Competition of Córdoba).
