This Sunday, September 20, there will be a free guided tour through the old town and the main monumental areas of the city.
The guided tour "Caravaca de la Cruz, walk around the holy city" has as its starting point the Royal Basilica of the Holy and Vera Cruz and covers the medieval quarter to the Plaza del Arco, past the Parish Church of El Salvador, the Street and the exhibition hall of the former Jesuit.
Later it delves into other streets in the old town, stopping at the Plaza del Hoyo and the PA or Bañadero de la Cruz, where the tour ends.
The event will take place at 11.15 hours, with an hour and a half.
The initiative is part of the sixth edition of "Your free guided tour" which promotes the Institute of Tourism and the Tourist Offices Network of the Region of Murcia.
These routes intend to meet unique landscapes, walking historic centers, castles and gain a unique experience in warehouses, museums, archaeological sites.

To participate in the visit to Caravaca de la Cruz on Sunday is a must attend reservation at the Municipal Tourist Office of Caravaca (968 70 24 24).
Participants receive a 10% bonus discount can be redeemed at local hospitality of the city.
Guided tour of the Teresian Year
The above program of guided tours through the old town, is complemented by special tours of the Year Teresian already facing its final stretch.
They develop daily in the church of San José and the former convent of cloistered Carmelite Mothers, located on Main Street.
The tours, also led by an official guide, are held from Tuesday to Sunday at 12.30.
Saturdays offer two;
at 12.30 and 16.30.
The price is two euros for adults and one euro for pensioners and children (under six years free).
