Signs indicating the towns of Murcia and Caravaca de la Cruz, of the Wine Routes of Jumilla and Yecla and golf courses of La Manga will be installed
The Community improves the Region tourist signs on state highways with new posters that announce cultural destinations, food and wine and golf.
Thus, the region incorporated into the catalog system of tourist signs on state roads (SISTHO), the cities of Murcia and Caravaca de la Cruz, the Wine Routes of Jumilla and Yecla and the golf courses of La Manga.
The work, which is included in the Quality Plan and Regional Tourism Infrastructure Improvement of the Ministry of Economic, Tourism and Employment Development, aims to inform citizens transiting through the State Road Network of places of interest tourism and the unique resources that are close to their situation and thus improve accessibility to tourist resources and user comfort.
Thus, it seeks to facilitate traveler decisions about destinations, through a system of consistent and easily recognizable signs that, in addition to providing information, serve as a lure and provides an immediate idea to tourists transiting drive on nearby places to visit.
The Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment made the request to indicate these five new destinations in August 2014, this was evaluated and approved by the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Development last January and obtained the authorization Demarcation of State Highways in Murcia last August.
