The Mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, Jose Moreno, accompanied by the Town Planning, Enrique Fuentes, held this morning a meeting with the director of Iberdrola Distribution in the Region of Murcia, César Calomarde, and the Head of Networks sector and Maintenance Pedro José García, to discuss the status of various investments being made in the city and pose new projects.
The two main objectives of this meeting were the status of the new electrical substation is being built in Canada Lentisco, with more than seven million euros investment, and establish avenues of collaboration between the city and the power company to work in the underground cabling in the old town areas.
"The current grid will be complemented with the new facility is expected to operate in the coming months, ensuring that the municipality can have a development, industrial and urban, without problems of electricity supply register" , as reported by the mayor.
