The City of Caravaca de la Cruz participated in yesterday in the First Day of Tourism Competitiveness, held in Murcia with the goal of making the region a "smart tourism destination," to become more competitive and improve the experience of tourists.
In the various talks and presentations scheduled she attended the head of the municipal department of Tourism, Maria Carmen Robles, accompanied by technical department.
The conference focused on how to exploit the possibilities offered by new information and communications technology (ICT) to provide products and services to meet the needs of tourists.
The 'Intelligent Tourist Destination' was created to enhance the tourist experience, to facilitate accessibility and visitor interaction with their environment.
The Ministry of Tourism has a project of Intelligent tourist destinations within the National and Integral Plan of Tourism.
The aim is to drive innovation in the destinations with the development of ICTs, so that you can create differential and highly competitive services.
The sessions were chaired by Secretary of State for Tourism, Isabel Maria Borrego and the Minister of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment, Juan Hernandez.
