Educational workshops, playgrounds, entertainment activities for Sunday afternoons and training courses in their free time are the three areas that make up the program of alternative entertainment "Young Caravaca", for the months of autumn and winter.
The new proposals, aimed at children and youth in the municipality, have been submitted by the councilman of Youth in the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, Esther Poveda, and the technician responsible for the area, Juan Aznar.
The "Young Caravaca" develops during all weekends of the year and has among its main objectives to generate healthy gathering spaces, promote inclusion and integration through leisure and facilitate new forms of alternative and safe fun.
The Youth Council opens the registration period Climbing workshops, Flamenco, Creative Theatre and Personal Development, Prehistory, English Theatre, Percussion, Computers and Mini Chefs Kitchen (initial and advanced).
The workshops are monthly, bimonthly or quarterly period, the tuition fees are affordable, 5 euros to 25 euros depending on the chosen mode, as are partly subsidized by the city.
Another activity very interesting as the mayor stressed during the presentation-Esther Poveda is the playroom of the Youth Centre, adapted to children with and without disabilities, which will be granted a scholarship for students who last summer attended summer school and dining social, so they are still working continuously with these children to facilitate their inclusion.
In order to further decentralize the activities of the town, playgrounds will also be held in the districts on Saturday afternoon.
During the months of October and November will be based in The Almudema and Barranda.
The alternative entertainment program "Young Caravaca" contemplates a formative part, with education courses in their free time.
The courses are provided "Volunteering and social action", "Sign Language" and "Crafts for monitors and educators", "Digital SLR Photography and Photoshop".
In addition to the workshops, courses and offered specific activities, children and youth can enjoy the facilities of the Youth Center, located on Avenida de Los Andenes, compared Cervantes school.
This municipal area is equipped with a climbing wall, multifunctional, practicing music, computer, dance and study and leisure room with foosball, table tennis, Play3, target, games, etc.
