The team from the Civil Guard Anti-Theft in the Field (ROCK) of the Northwest Region last night received recognition during the COAG meeting, which brought together more than 300 partners.
Rock groups have helped reduce by 37% the crimes of robbery in agricultural and livestock farms.
The event was chaired by the Minister of Water, Agriculture and Environment, Adela Martinez-Chachá;
Mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, Jose Moreno, and the president of Coag-Northwest, José Miguel Marin.
During the meeting, the mayor expressed the full support of the City of Caravaca organization COAG and agriculture, as strategic sectors in the high mountain areas.
So he mentioned already taken measures such as lowering of IBI rustic style, and future projects on improving rural roads.
Similarly, existing subsidies for young farmers and the need to increase support for the administration to promote agriculture and organic farming were discussed.
