The 'Teenage School', launched by the Youth Council of the City of Caravaca, addressed this Friday, December 18, the issue of conflict and violence in schools and how students should respond to cases of abuse mates.
"The workshop 'Stop violence' work in the field of prevention, which is important for young people not adopt a passive attitude to bullying in classrooms and report cases that exist around them. Similarly, techniques will be provided for conflict resolution ", as has advanced the mayor of Youth and Education, Esther Poveda.
The last quarter of the workshop 'School Adolescents' will aim to make students more sensitive to the suffering of others and is not maintained in a position of mere observer, thus helping to eradicate violence in their environment.
The 'School Teens' has been launched for the first time this year in order to address and to share issues that may affect the social, emotional and academic development of young people.
For this dynamic and participatory workshops, free assistance, in which issues are discussed different nature arise, many raised by the users of the Youth Center.
During the last quarter of the year we have held workshops on study skills, control of test anxiety, advantages and threats of social networks, egalitarian relationships, awareness against gender violence and public speaking techniques.
Since the Youth Council encourage young people to participate and propose future workshops for this course.
