The Department of Works and Services report that during these days have conducted two performances collector systems in order to improve the removal of waste and storm water and sewer service modernization.
Works promoted by the Directorate General of Water, have been sued by the City Council caravaqueño due to deficiencies presenting existing infrastructures.
On the one hand, it has run the general sanitation collector 'El Arrabal' of Benablón, with a budget of 20,000 euros.
This infrastructure allows you to override the existing septic tank, connecting with the general collector Cavila Industrial Estate.
To do this, we proceeded to the installation of 175 meters of collector through PVC pipe and the demolition of the existing pit and transporting waste to landfill and waste plant approved.
The work done in the area of ​​'El Arrabal Benablón' improves sewer service provided to the residents of the hamlet, eliminating the existing pit, requiring ongoing maintenance and revamp.
Of note is the collaboration of a neighbor, which has allowed to be carried out this action by private land, giving the appropriate permission and assignments.
On the other hand, it has culminated consistent in changing the point of intersection of the general collector districts to the new southern collector, which initially was in the area of ​​the old train station and now happens to be located in Los Molinos work.
"After the commissioning of this infrastructure problems with the disposal of wastewater and rainwater were observed, which has led to the action that has now been developed," he pointed the mayor of Services, Antonio giver.
The new south collector, located in the Los Molinos, was executed a few months ago with a budget of 312,851 euros, funded 80 percent by the Cohesion Fund of the European Union amount and the remaining 20 percent by the Community Autonomous.
Collects water from the lower part of the Gran Via and the Avenue of the Constitution and evacuated through the slope of Los Molinos, the general district collector to the municipal sewage treatment plant.
