The local public employment plan and the mixed employment and training program will allow the hiring of 23 people, registered at the Employment Office
The City of Caravaca de la Cruz will launch next month of March 2 employment programs that will draw from the unemployment rolls 23 people.
The Councillor for Finance and Employment, Julia Gimenez, accompanied by the head of the Municipal Center for Employment, Training and Equal, Espallardo Visitation, today reported the content and objectives of these programs to "help boost the economy of our town."
The projects developed by the Department of Employment, will have a total budget of 339,767 euros, which is funded by the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF), the European Social Fund and the caravaqueño Consistory.
For recruiting participants, the City launched an offer of employment to the Employment and Training Service, the body in charge of the preselection of the same, based on the criteria established in the rules, which give priority to the long-term duration.
"These plans for promoting employment have a twofold purpose: on one hand promote the employability of unemployed people, reinforcing their experience and qualifications, and on the other, providing a benefit to the whole of local society with implementing improvement actions in public places ", as highlighted by the mayor of the municipal area responsible for Employment, Julia Gimenez.
Specifically, the Regional Employment and Training has recently approved the project of local public employment to complete the works of the building of the Municipal Center for Employment, Training and Equal, to the adequacy of the basement for use as classrooms and training facilities complementary.
The program, worth 132,000 euros, will allow the hiring of eight people registered with the Employment Office Caravaca, during the period of six months.
It has also approved the mixed results of employment and training program for the maintenance of public spaces, with the participation, for nine months, a total of 15 unemployed, along with teaching, administrative and support staff.
This project will promote the employment of unemployed persons and registered in the Employment Office of Caravaca de la Cruz, through their professional qualifications, alternating with practical and productive tasks.
The work will consist primarily in masonry installations and public spaces.
After completing the program, the student-workers receive a professional certification.
The second project has a budget of 207,700 euros.
