The Northwest Region of Murcia strengthen its presence in the International Tourism Fair of Madrid, Fitur, with a stand in which the municipalities of Caravaca de la Cruz, Cehegín and Calasparra will present their tourism resources through presentations , audiovisual projections and gastronomic tastings.
The promotional campaign to be deployed from 20 to 24 January in the framework of the 36th edition of FITUR has been filed by the mayors of Caravaca de la Cruz, José Moreno;
Cehegín, Jose Rafael Rocamora, and Calasparra, Jose Velez.
In the Archaeological Museum of Murcia they have disclosed reserved for Northwest Murcia, that will consist of an area of ​​about 90 square meters, located next to the stand of the Region of Murcia, in Hall 7 IFEMA number.
Caravaqueño mayor wanted to emphasize the many heritage and cultural values ​​shared by the municipalities of the region: "We can be a perfect gear to offer quality tourism and this trade fair is a key event to promote diversity and the many attractions of the Northwest ".
The space devoted to the Northwest Region will feature a reception and information area, where visitors will find information material of tourism resources of each municipality and area to maintain a professional working meetings with agencies, operators and groups.
The stand will be divided into three areas in which each municipality will expose the three tourism products selected for this edition.
Caravaca de la Cruz will focus on religious tourism, with the Jubilee Year 2017;
Nature tourism and archaeological tourism and holidays.
For its part, the bid Calasparra Shrine of Our Lady of Hope, falls and river walks Almadenes Canyon on the river Segura and closures.
Cehegín be present with the cultural resources of the old town, wine tourism Wine School and active tourism in Coto de la Maravillas.
Presentations and tastings
During the fair, a series of presentations of tourism resources, as well as tastings of various food products are held.
Specifically, Caravaca de la Cruz held on Friday 22, at 11.00, the presentation of the yolks of Caravaca and the horses came his candidacy and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
On Saturday 23, at the same time, the presentation of the XXXVIII edition of the Feast of the crews will be held, with the presence of Aguilanderos Barranda, and also be represented the "Giants" of the festivities, with the presence of 'Nano' and 'Nana'.
The main event will be on Thursday, at 11.30 pm with the presentation at the stand of the Region of Murcia "The Way of the Cross of Caravaca" and the forthcoming Jubilee Year 2017.
On the stand, the public can participate, from 12.00 to 14.00 in the tastings of typical products of the Northwest.
Among the delicacies that will be released are the buds, crumbs and handkerchiefs Santa Teresa de Caravaca de la Cruz.
