The activities of the 'School Adolescents' attendance are free and are held Friday afternoon
The Youth Council of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz begins this Friday, January 22, a new program within the project 'School Adolescents', launched at the beginning of this academic year.
"In the second quarter, various topics of interest such as assertiveness, self-esteem, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, how to avoid problems with attention and improve concentration applied to the study will be discussed," he announced the mayor of Youth and Education, Esther Poveda.
The detailed programming as the councilman is set based on the proposals made by young people themselves attending the meetings of the first quarter.
The 'School of teenagers' course started early in order to address common issues and put in influencing the social, emotional and academic development of young people.
For this dynamic and participatory workshops, free assistance, in which issues of different nature are treated taught.
The objective pursued with this initiative is to implement permanent training activities on non-formal education, creating a meeting place for discussion and exchange opinions among young people, aged from 12 years.
During the first quarter they have been put on the table the risks and opportunities of social networks, egalitarian relationships and public speaking techniques, among others.
Workshops and talks of the 'School Teens' assistance are free and are held on the premises of Youth Center, Friday afternoon, from 17.00 to 20.00.
The new schedule begins this Friday, 22, at 17.00, with the workshop on assertiveness (how to make you listen, how to earn respect).
The next sessions will be 'Attention Problems' (January 29),' Improve your concentration to study '(February 5),' Self-esteem '(February 12),' Conflict Resolution '(March 11) and' Intelligence emotional '(March 18).
Since the Youth Council encourage young people to participate and propose future workshops for this course.
