Strategies of sustainable and inclusive urban development (EDUSI) committed 5% of the ERDF and 2020 are to receive 35 million euros aimed at financing these initiatives.
For that reason, the Municipal People in the City of Caravaca registered a motion aimed at developing plans and guidelines in this regard in the case of caravaqueño municipality.
Deputy parliamentary group, Victor Martinez-Carrasco, promoter of this motion in the Regional Assembly, explained at a press conference the objectives and characteristics of these plans, accompanied by the Municipal spokesperson, José Francisco Garcia, and the Councillor Monica Sanchez.
"The European Commission has long committed to sustainable development and not only environmental but cultural, social and economic issues," said Victor Martinez-Carrasco, who underlined that concrete projects were financed and strategies that are now selected before public assembly.
"It aims to invest in Spain 1,500 million euros until 2020 focused on sustainable urban development," he stressed the regional deputy.
The motion seeks to shape a common strategic framework to help developing plans and on the other hand, promote the training of mayors and councilors in sustainable urban development, which can help them in their daily decision making, added the regional parliamentarian PP, who has explained that ending the Regional Assembly this proposal was approved by the affirmative vote of PP, PSOE and Citizen and the non-able.
