The Department of Sports and Education of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz have launched the project 'Promoting the values ​​of sport in the town of Caravaca de la Cruz', which includes several initiatives to educate youth and society in general need to respect rules of coexistence and act on universal values.
The first initiative launched within this project was the 'Fair Play' contest, in which students have participated Elementary age group in which most students of the Municipal Sports Schools concentrated.
"A total of 93 schools across the municipality have you participated in the competition, designing a pattern, like a logo and a slogan inspired by the values ​​of sport, which will be printed on the jerseys of all municipal sports schools", has noted the council responsible for the area of ​​education, Esther Poveda.
The winning logo was the work of the pupil at the school Our Lady of Consolation Marta Garcia Abellan.
The winning slogan was "You, me, him, together we will win ', presented by the school's students and Nerea Cervantes Juan Manuel Gimenez Sanchez.
In the near future, all the works will be exhibited at the House of Culture and a recognition of the three winners will be awarded.
For his part, Councillor for Sports, Antonio Donate, explained that the project 'Promoting the values ​​of sport in the town of Caravaca de la Cruz' goes beyond the call of this contest, because "in sports clubs , schools and society in general, we often find a lack of values ​​and therefore consider it necessary to conduct coordinated initiatives, actively involving all actors related to sports, be they athletes, families, coaches, teachers, referees, assistant or media ".
