The councilman of Youth, Antonia Alvarez, visited the kitchen workshop Holy Week has started in the morning at the Youth Center of Caravaca involving eighty children aged 7 to 12 years.
As has become customary in recent years, the activity is directed by the Youth Technical collaboration with a large group of volunteers from the Senior Center of IMAS, who are responsible for transmitting in a fun and funny recipes students.
The workshop is part of the specific activities organized annually by the Department of Youth and complements the activity recorded in the Youth Center the weekend with the program of leisure "Caravaca Young."
As noted by the owner of Youth at the opening of the workshop, with activities like this one intends to foster intergenerational relationships between children and adults, recreational alternatives for the holidays and all, to transmit from generation to generation the knowledge of recipes traditional Northwest Region in the Easter holidays from falling into oblivion.
The children, volunteers directed by the Center for Older Persons, have developed recipes like the typical "Hornazo" and dumplings.
