During the days 10, 11 and 12 June, the convent of the Carmelite Fathers inn will host the II Regional Seminar on Rural Tourism, organized by the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Murcia and by extension in the Northwest with UNED sponsored by the City of Caravaca and the Ministry of Tourism, Trade and Consumer Affairs.
Following the success of last year, the event return to Caravaca with the aspiration to serve as a forum for debate and reflection for businesses, researchers, students and the general public.
The opening of the conference will take place next Tuesday at 17.00 hours with the director general of tourism infrastructure, José Anselmo Luengo, the mayor of Caravaca, Domingo Aranda, and Associate Director of the Center of Cartagena UNED, Juan Antonio Cava .
After the opening ceremony, will begin his presentation "New products and their impact on rural development: The wine tourism" by the professor of the School of Tourism Mercedes Millán.
The need to redefine the tourism policies in the natural environment in the Region of Murcia will be the focus of the contribution of Professor of Economics at the University of Murcia, Francisco Carreño, scheduled for 19.30 am on Tuesday.
The founder and CEO of Toprural, Derbais Francisco, will discuss the expectations of rural tourism and its economic cycle in the first of Wednesday's session, which is scheduled for 17.00.
Then, at 18.00 pm and held a lecture entitled "The association, an indispensable tool in rural tourism" by the president of Asetur, Francisco Javier Herrera.

The conference will be closed on Thursday afternoon with visits to the Museum of Wine and Cloan Bullas Bullas Holiday Cabins.
