Concerts, film, sports and Graffiti workshops, computers, climbing and percussion are just some of the activities that are part of the summer of the Youth Council of the City of Caravaca.
The program, consisting of about thirty of leisure and free time has been presented by the councilman of Youth, Antonia M ª Álvarez, and the head of the area, Mercedes Andujar, who have stated that the activities have been designed with into account the views and proposals forwarded by youth associations of the municipality.
A new feature this year is that the Summer School will be held, in addition to the Equestrian Club and La Loma, in schools and Barrada Archivel.
There are also planned concerts in the Youth Center result of an exchange project between municipalities musical formations called "Musical Circuits," which was recently approved by the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia on the initiative of the Department of Youth Ayuntamiento de Caravaca.
The programming begins this June with the celebration of the first Youth Week comprising wide range of proposals for all ages as handicraft workshops, hip-hop, belly dancing and canyoning in the gorges of the river Cabriel .
The closure of the Youth Week will be provided by local groups that offer a joint concert together with other artists.
In July, the traditional start of summer school and camp in the camp of "Nogueras" Nerpio.
During the summer season will take place many other activities for children and young people aged between 4 and 30.
These include youth encounter Laarkirchen (Austria) under the "Healthy Travel", a weekend of canyoning in Cuenca and Caravaca Lan Party II.
