The mayor of Caravaca, Domingo Aranda, and the Councillor for Education, Juan Pedro Martinez have received in the Plenary Hall of the students participating caravaqueños and German cultural exchange program launched in the Secondary School Gines Perez Chirinos.
Both applauded the project focused on cultural enrichment and learning the German language among students in upper and encouraged teachers to continue this initiative in future academic years.
At the reception were also present Chirinos teachers and a teacher who is accompanying German youth during the eight days in Caravaca.
Prof. M ª Angeles Salcedo, one of the promoters of this initiative, explained that young Germans, in addition to receiving some lectures on Spanish culture, have made several trips to places like La Manga, Vera, and Murcia.
From Chirinos rated as very satisfactory experience as a pioneer in the center for families to host students caravaqueñas.
