Caravaca City Council has launched a workshop on "New employment 2008" intended to refocus and qualify professionally for a period of one year to 24 people unemployed.
This workshop is the sixth in a row that is taught in the town, is held parallel to began last December with the name of "Maintenance of public and community service."
The workshop has a budget of 500,000 euros financed by the Regional Employment Service and Training, the European Social Fund and the Consistory caravaqueño and is divided into specialties Maintenance of Public Spaces, Installing Photovoltaic Systems and Solar Thermal Energy and Jobs Archaeology Assistants.
In addition, the student-selected workers will receive theoretical training in areas such as Occupational Health and Safety, Computer Literacy, Career Guidance and Business Management.
The Department of Employment continues to focus on employment workshops as a tool to train unemployed people in labor camps in development and growing demand in today's society.
These new workshops are for people from the construction and related sectors are unemployed and women with difficulties in finding a job.
Also, with the implementation of these workshops seeks to promote new technologies, conservation and dissemination of historical and cultural heritage of the municipality and the promotion of clean and renewable energy in municipal buildings.
