The Local Government Board held an extraordinary session in which they have declared void the two contests relating to the awarding of construction projects and construction of public gardens and underground parking lots and the subsequent management of them in Garden City and Ravine St. Jerome.
As stated in the opinion previously approved Planning Commission briefing, none of the bids submitted by three companies in the competition meet all the requirements of the specification, so the recruitment table set up for both projects have agreed to declare void the tender.
In this regard, the mayor, Domingo Aranda, pointed out that, as explained at the beginning of the bidding process, "in case the parking lot of Garden City is a very strict specification, which takes into account issues such as trees and security, and will not give the green light the project until these issues are fully guaranteed priority.
Therefore, the mayor added, "we will initiate a new bidding process to find an offer that complies strictly with each and every one of the conditions."
After being deserted the competition, the Board of Governors has agreed to start a new bidding process with a specification that has adapted to the new law on public sector contracts.
The announcement and the new specification and are published in the Profile section of the contracting of municipal web www.caravaca.org, to the effect that within 10 days for companies interested in being invited to tender to inform the City Council .
Moreover, the Board of Governors agreed on the same special session, as proposed by the recruitment table, awarding the contest sponsored by the City Council last April for the creation of a leasehold on the land of educational equipment located in Casablanca and subsequent management of a school entered the only bid submitted, which promises to launch a concerted school later than 24 months.
