The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport works technically and economically in the organization and convening of literary prizes in three municipalities in the region with a contribution of 12,000 euros, in its 2008 edition.
This amount is allocated to the municipalities of Cartagena, Caravaca and Molina de Segura.
The prize money will be allocated as follows: The municipality of Cartagena will receive 6,000 euros for convening the International Poetry Prize "Antonio Oliver Belmas ', the short tour will be funded with $ 3,000 to organize the International Essay Prize' Miguel Espinosa, and Finally, the Consistory of Molina de Segura get 3,000 euros to develop the Prize 'Setenil'.
With this action, the regional government intends to collaborate with local lending his support to the organization, call and editing awards.
The aim is to promote the development of writing and reading, as well as the projection of the image outside the region given the international nature of these awards.
