Local Employment Center for Women opens next Monday, September 1, the registration period for new editions of Ordenografía courses and Introduction to Computers and workshops in Yoga and Tai Chi.
Entries can be formalized at the headquarters of the Local Employment Center for Women, located on Calle Poeta Ibáñez, from 8.00 to 15.00.
Ordenografía courses and Introduction to Computers Level I, II and II are designed for men and women 16 and older.
Three editions are scheduled 40 hours each (the first of October to December, the second from January to March and the third from April to June).
Classes will be held in morning and afternoon shifts in the Classroom Free Internet access in the House of Culture Emilio Sáez.
Local Employment Centre is offering courses related to new technologies since 2002.
In the last year enrolled a total of 148 people and since they gave the beginning have been trained in Basic Computer caravaqueños about 1,000.
Councilman Information Society, Salvador Gomez, has called for participation in these courses because, in his words-"a good opportunity for training in an area as needed and demanded in the labor market as computer ".
Furthermore, she added that initiatives like this help to reduce the digital divide dominated between youth and seniors.
Yoga workshops and Tai Chi targeting women groups will be held in morning and evening from next month from October through June 2009.
The maximum number of spaces provided is 50.
