Councilman Hacienda del Ayuntamiento de Caravaca, Salvador Gomez, today released data related to the liquidation and general account of 2007 the City of Caravaca.
During that period the Consistory had recognized revenue 27,528,862 euros and 22.963.301euros costs, resulting in an outturn after adjusting for 2,722,838 euros.
These data, in the words of the council, will enable the City to maintain services and promote investment, despite the drop in revenue expected for this year and next.
According to the head of the area of Finance, the surplus responds to growth based on the promotion of economic activity, tax stability, and attracting investment.
"With this line of work we have achieved a healthy City, solvent and able to invest in the most uncertain economic period," he pointed Salvador Gomez, who has taken the opportunity to acknowledge the work performed by employees of local government and in particular the local economic area.
